Yes Robbie, this is expressive, and I love it. The soft flowing water contrasting with the hard stone of the bridge, the sharp reflection of the bridge compared to the blur of the wier water. You abstract it by not showing the whole bridge or wier, we don't need to see them all, we have the refelction. It speaks of time gone by, the water flows, but the bridge and it's refelction are still there and will always be there. Wonderful image of Bath.
