Dear Mrs Hopewell,

My name is Paul Meyere ? I have 17 years old , I work in free time in Rhone American Cemetery, Draguignan, France. Currently, I search the story of Zeb Murphy Banks and other documents for the creation of an exposition in a cemetery " the faces of freedom" . I am member of the The Franco-American Society of Draguignan who cares to invite the families of victims at the memorial day.
I'm very sorry for my english accent.

Thank you

Thanking you in advance,

Paul Meyere

My great-uncle Tyes Boven was a corporal in the 191st tank battalion. He died on Jan. 2, 1944. If anyone has any information about him, or the circumstances of his death, please email me at either, stanley.boven@trw.com, or nascarfan527@gmail.com.
Thank you.

My uncle Zeb Murphy Banks was in the 191st Tank Battalion and was killed in action on August 28th, 1944. He is buried in the Rhone American Cemetery in Draguignan, France. He entered the war from NC and was from Jones County NC. If anyone has any information or photos that they might share with me, I would greatly appreciate you contacting me. He was an Army Specialist , 4th class. I am interested in what type of tank he was in and the duty he had in the tank. I have been told that he was the driver, but do not know for sure. I would welcome any information on who his buddies were and any other information. My mother, his sister, is now deceased and l long for any information on his unit and the battle that he lost his life in. I was only two years old when he was killed. Are there any books or documentaries on the 191st Tank Battalion? Thank you and God Bless America!
