This gallery contains random photographs taken at a consolidated reunion of the 191st and the 781st Tank Battalions held in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 6-9,2006. Both tank battallions saw extensive action in World War II in Italy, France, and Germany. The 191st saw more days in combat; and lost more tanks and men directly to enemy action than any other tank battalion in the U.S. Army in any war in any theatre of action. The photos here were taken at the Flying W Ranch; the U.S. Air Force Academy; the Garden of the Gods; at the Edelweiss German Restaurant; and at the Academy Hotel where we stayed and had our final banquet.
