After diving into the water from 30-100 feet above.to catch large fish with its talons, the osprey holds its catch with both feet, shakes the water out of his feathers, points the fish head forward to decrease wind resistance, and with uniquely curved claws is able to carry the fish a considereable distance to feed its young.
