I was stationed in Etain 59-62 82nd truck co. this one picture you have with the car in it, i think is a taxi. i forgot the name of the bar,they have added a patio in front. the guy owned the bar & taxi...anyway we had a spainish guy in the 82nd named Resario who fell in love with his daughter,he returned to the States got his discharge and went back to Etain and married the girl..Resario was tending bar and driving taxi when i left. I left etain after being evicted by charles degaulle, I think at the end of 1966. we worked hard days and nights loading trains , planes and trucks to clear out the munitions area in record time. even the base commander came out to help upload a train once with 20mm. everybody sweated for weeks.
