Part of the gallery: Vancouver Mural Festival

“Dance the Dance My Girl” by artists Irving Cano (Mexico), Ari de la Mora (Mexico)

“These characters belong to a region called Oaxaca located in Southwestern
Mexico, this state is best know for its indigenous people and culture.
The mural is portraying the importance that celebrations with music,
dance and costumes, hold in the community. Mexico’s rich culture derives
from the mingling of the ancient traditions of its vibrant indigenous people
with Spanish colonial customs. Here in Vancouver Canada, we can relate to
this sharing and giving of multiculturalism, where each culture gives a sense
of identity to the city and where each group adds its distinctive touch to the
celebrations and fiesta.”

I thought I saw that, and can see in another comment that someone else saw the heart in the the hand as well. Well, I think I'll give that particular ceremony a miss! Beautiful mural, well captured.
