Artist Statement: “This artwork conveys an idea about freedom.
As in an illusion, this person leaves an interior to breathe the air from
the outside. The sunlight appears on his face. It is an instant in time,
invoking a moment of reflection. This wall will be like a great open window
of illusion to allow the viewer to contemplate this moment. This will be
a mural that seeks to integrate into the architecture, as well as being part of it.”
