Part of the gallery: Vancouver Mural Festival

“Ella in the Fall” by artists Loretta Lizzio & Cam Scale (Australia)

This hidden mural has a few interesting features. The business beside
it is the Marian Distributing Centre, a store that sells and distribute all
of the figures, idols, candles, and other worship related items about the
Virgin Mary. While the artist made no direct comment, the woman
in the mural has a golden halo around her. Moreover, the light on the
building also creates a literal halo if you see it at night. I will try to
go back at night and photograph it sometime.

This image provides nice contrast between the lovely mural and the bleak urban scene to the left.

Cool shot, and so well composed. Really like that you included the unpainted side of the building and how the colors of the mural blend in with the building. "V"

riveting work...perhaps a modern Mary...spot on POV to flesh out the aged building and setting..

Despite the other possibilities this is unique in its own right. This Vancouver exhibit is that best that I have come across. The murals have been a treat to see in your compositions. "VVV"

This is really interesting mural. I can see the faint golden halo, but what does the crane signify I wonder. At any rate, fascinating, and an excellent capture on your part. VV
