A photographer we met at the Saturday market selling fine art prints, glass tile pendants and photo greeting cards.
He shoots mostly natural subjects such as landscapes in and around the west coast areas. His philosophy, simple images for complex times and his images have a bold simplicity and natural beauty to them.
A very talented fellow who initially trained in film making but changed over to still photography and now solely makes his
living from it. He is at the market every weekend and most months of the year. We bought a couple of fine art prints from him, one of a field in Idaho covered with sunflowers with a
lonely cloud suspended in a rich blue sky and the other of sunset light on the autumn colors of the rolling hills of the Palouse region in Eastern Washington.
We had a nice chat about photography and how he makes his prints.
If interested, his website is http://www.ndtphoto.com/

Great photo of the photographer surrounded by his work. Certainly a tough way to make living this way, at least around here with fierce competition and thousands thinking they are photographers and can make their own. "V"

I like this portrait of a photographer surrounded by his work, which does look very nice. It's interesting to see the larger print reflected in the cards and tile pendants as well. V.

good to tune in to the local artists, and bold of him to brave the market..one has to admire an individual who goes his own way..
