Welcome

Tonight marks the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Vancouver. For the next nine
days, paralympic athletes from forty four countries will compete in five events, from curling to
biathlon to sledge hockey. A big welcome to these incredible athletes and a salute to
them for their courage, determination and inspiration!
