The Coast Starlight at Steilacoom, Washington. It is interesting that I had time to go home and grab my older camera which had the 70-200mm lens on it and drive maybe 40 miles. That drive included 5 miles with 25 and 30 mph speed limits and a stop for construction work. I still had time to park the car and walk to the spot. I think I had to wait another 4 to 5 minutes before the train came. This may be a vanishing vista for Amtrak trains in a few years as they plan to move them to the old line through Fort Lewis. It will cut about 10 minutes time from the schedule but remove a scenic section along Puget Sound.
