I am not a fan of man-made replacement materials as I advocate for historic buildings--their traditional materials, techniques, and methods. In this gallery, I will feature photographs of how replacement materials can ruin buildings, especially historic structures or show you images of replacement materials that have failed. Keep in mind that "maintenance free" only means that you throw-away. "Replacement" means replace, replace, and keep replacing!
