Bijapur

Bijapur is this awesome city in northern Karnataka, 10 hours by bus from Bombay. Most people come to see the huge Golgumbaz - a mausoleum - but there's tons of interesting stuff to see. If in Karnataka, do visit this town!

Thanks a lot for your nice comments. I do realise that Bijapur may be a bit modest compared to things like Taj Mahal and some other things in India...so much more feel good to read your comments (as an old Bijapurian "out of town" since 48 years). Yep folks...keep on going to Bijapur !
