For our orientation to France, we went to Paris. Since some of the students in our program had been in France since August only the new students went to Paris. This was my first trip to Paris since I had visited there with my high school French-Exchange group. I have to admit that my memories of orientation are a bit unclear because the cold that I had when I left France had gotten much worse by that point and turned into an infection. The doctor for our group gave me medicine so that I could get better. During orientation we stayed at FIAP which is a sort of dormitory for students from all over the world. Unlike a regular dormitory, each room had its own bathroom. We also ate breakfast at FIAP.
