China


China is a country of incredible variety and experiences for those that are willing to venture off the beaten track.

In 2002 Tanya and I partook in an overland expedition across China and Tibet to Nepal for 5 weeks.
It was an incredible experience and we made great friends along the way.

Kashgar has always been a vital point on the ancient silk road, and so in 2004 we jumped at the opportunity to travel there from Pakistan along the famous Karakoram Highway.
While Kashgar is now a modern Chinese city, the journey there is still a great adventure.
