1978 Trek TX900 Serial# J3F8H66 (J = TX900, 3 = 22.5", F = June, 8 = 1978, H = Run #, 66 = Sixty Sixth frame in run H)

This frame has water bottle and cable guide braze-ons and was outfitted with a mix of Suntour and Campy parts. Purchased on 6/25/2006. Original paint in nice condition. Will be rebuilt with Suntour Superbe parts ( https://pbase.com/rjnbiker/suntour ) to match the original frame stickers.

3/10/2010 Converted to fixed gear with parts from garage
Campagnolo Nuovo Record crank with small chainring ears cut off back to clear chainstay with 109mm bottom bracket. Campy 52 tooth chainring, 17 tooth cog. Campy front brake and brake lever. Campagnolo Nuovo Record headset, Cinelli stem and 66-40 bar, cut and inverted. Campy pedals. Campagnolo Nuovo Record large flange track hubs, Sun M13II wheels laced with 1.8/2.0 DT spokes 3 forward, 3 reverse. Sr Laprade seatpost and Fizik seat.
