The Trek 170 manufactured in 1984, serial number 143058. Production of 170's was 132 in 1983, 82 in 1984, and 32 in 1985 for a total of 246. Of the 1984 production 11 were this size, 56cm frames. The frame is built with Reynolds 753 main and fork tubes and uses the 58TSI BB casting. This frame has the Trek dropouts and rear shifter cable routed through the chainstay. Found by an observant shop employee who noted the Reynolds 753 decals on a throwaway frame.
