This is day 2 in the life of this flower. Yesterday afternoon it got pelted by a hard rain and it looked a little ragged. It seems to have come back well under the circumstances. They say these plants will produce flowers one after another once they start however this, like our water lillys, may be a one bloom per year producer. This is possibly due to our location (it doe not get much sun) and perhaps the altitude.
