This was my first real kampung (village) wedding. The bride and groom are from two neighbouring kampungs some 30kms from Surakarta in central Java, Indonesia. The attendance was huge with, I would estimate, at least 500 people attending during the day.

This was a traditional Javanese wedding complete with food and entertainment. The musical entertainment was a gamelan ensemble.
