This took place from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th August.

The evening mass ascents of over 100 balloons planned for all four days did not take place due to the very high temperatures and an unfavourable wind direction.

The early morning mass ascents planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday did go ahead and we were lucky this year that the wind direction brought the balloons our way. I was able to sit in our front garden to watch the balloons go by.
