The fruits of 12 days, 3000 miles of driving and over 5000 photos taken between May 2-12, 2014. I went a week or so earlier than usual and while that meant I missed the elk calves and most of the bear cubs, I also got opportunities with much larger grizzlies than usual, catching them low while they foraged for food below the snow pack. It was an incredible experience.
