I love this flower but they have turned brown do we cut the complete flower or just brown piece Thanks

Veronica 'Royal Candles' should be cut back when the entire flower spike has turned brown to promote continued flowering. This is a wonderful perennial and with regular maintenance (deadheading) will continue to flower right up until frost!

What do we do when the candles turn brown on the bottom, do we cut off the entire candle or just the brown worn foliage
