McNeil River

McNeil River hosts the largest concentration of Coastal Brown Bears in the world. It is maintained as a wildlife sanctuary by the State of Alaska, which conducts a lottery permitting 10 people at a time to attend. We got lucky last summer.

Fantastic!!! I soooo envy your win of the McNeil lottery and having the once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph these magnificent bears. I also enjoyed seeing the Sandhill Cranes. A nice gallery!
