As in most things,I am a few years behind on using this technique.I am stumbling and bumbling my way along,hopefully creating some interesting images in the process.These are mostly images I have in my galleries that I've tweeked a bit by desaturation.

Oh damned! You have a wife! LOL Just kidding. I really like this gallery. You've selected just the right element to make each image extra-interesting. It's amazing how one's work tells so much about the photographer! I've enjoyed several of your galleries and you certainly have the eye for capturing images that are interesting, IMO! Your use of selective coloring is superb. I think there are a number of different techniques. I hope you found the easy one. :o)
