I spent the day out on the mostly frozen lake at By The Lake Park yesterday(along with my friend and fellow pBaser Ron Asp https://pbase.com/poundstone watching and photographing the return of the Canada Geese to the area.This trout stocked lake is kept open throughtout the winter by circulating pumps in different areas of the man made lake....and the geese took full advantage of this for a chilly dip in the open water.At 9c(48F),it was a great day on the lake.
