Wetaskiwn,Alberta holds a great little 3 day rodeo on the long weekend in May every year.It's a fun one for a photographer because amateur or professional,you can get up pretty much as close as you like to the action and the people are so friendly.These shots are from the opening day,Saturday,the only day I am able to attend this year.Tomorrow I'm off to the thoroughbred races at Northlands track....so I guess this weekend is going to be all about horsing around!
