A day at the rodeo

This was my first rodeo I have attended in many many years.For a photographer,this rodeo is a delight...you can get very close to the action.They had some fantastic competition here for a small rodeo.It was a lot of fun...count me in next year!Thanks Ron Asp ( https://pbase.com/poundstone ) for inviting me down to this great event.

There's always next time	Bullrider	Out came the flag bearers to begin the rodeo...	Flag riders
"Oh oh.....I feel a bucking coming up....this could hurt"	"Yep...that hurt"	"Am I scared heading out of the chute?...damn right I'm scared"	"holy crap"
"I did my job.....think now I'll sit a spell"	"oh shoot....there goes my......"	...hat	Ride's over my friend
"See ya later lil cowboy"	Is this event accomplished when you see the whites of their eyes?	"Well there....that was easy..."	A little break in the action
Barrel Racing....	...and this pretty gal is heading home..	Bullseye	"I can do this with my eyes closed"
"here we go"	Well...he managed to land on his feet...	"Ummmm...mind telling me why you're putting that rope around my horns?"	"Alright now....that's enough...this isn't funny you guys"

Rick, you have done such a great job on these rodeo shots. It is hard picking out a favorite shot. You have really stopped the action. Very pleasing. BV. Gary.

Some very nice shots. Rodeos are fun places to practice photography.
