We had a perfectly clear sky to watch the eclipse here in Alberta.The only issue was it was pretty much the coldest night we've had at -23c(-30c with the wind)so staying outside for any length of time was difficult both on me and the camera.
I did manage to get a few half decent shots considering I gave up on trying to use the tripod so hand held for these shots.
I guess I can always catch the eclipse next time it falls on the winter solstace....400 years from now.Let's see....I 'll be....
