I like to shoot rodeos from the rail but at the Calgary Stampede without a press pass I don't think this is possible.You are sold assigned seats and ours were way up near the top of the grandstand.I knew I wasn't going to be getting top notch shots even with my 400mm lens so I only took my 18-200 with me.Great view but not great for closeups....:-(
On the brighter side,being up in the stands did afford some neet shadow play on this hot +30c day.
