I guess we really stood out as tourists in Chicago....maybe the clicking camera was a giveaway....or our eyes focused upward instead of down or straight ahead like normal Chicago folk.We got lost a lot...which only added to the adventure...and there was always someone there who'd say "Where you trying to get to?"....our human GPS's."Oh the Blue Line train back to Rosemont?...you need to go two blocks that way to Clark & Lake".This was always followed by a polite "Say could ya spare a bit of change for a coffee?".They always earned their handout from us,but none stood out more than this fellow....a 50 yr. old(we took him for 30)college student who not only directed us to where we were trying to get to but walked us there and then wrote out 3 pages of notes about the best blues bar,the best deep dish pizza...and anything else he could think of to make our experience a better one.I gave him my card and said I'd have his picture on here in about two weeks for him to see....so this is for him. Thanks for your hospitality my friend!
