This shot was taken just south of Slave Lake,Ab. on the drive up here.Since I took this shot a forest fire has taken over the area and after 5 homes burning today,they have now issued an evacuation order for the town of Slave Lake.With winds gusting to 100kmh,the fire is spreading fast.My northern adventure is taking an interesting turn.
