Our second day of searching for spawning salmon we happened upon this obscure little creek off the beaten path called Hiuihill Creek.It was about a 30 minute walk through the forest to get down to the creek,full of switchbacks and a bit of bushwhacking.When we got to the creek itself we found the guys from Discovery Channel filming down there.They are doing a 7 part DVD on various habitats around the world.These fellows came from England to film the salmon and would spend about a week here.This will only be a small part of the DVD on North America.It was fun watching them work while also checking out the salmon.
