Adams River,British Columbia

The fish experts. These are some of the fish counters. This being a record year in terms of the number of salmon spawning, they are trying to get an accurate count. They count them and then hack them in two so they won't be counted again.Every four years the salmon swim upriver from the Pacific Ocean to spawn....and then unfortunately to die within days. This year the number of salmon is blowing away all past records.More than 4 times the record.

They pick up the dead ones or what? I see a couple in the foreground. Where are the bears to do all that clean up? :) Great capture and cool processing!
