This is the crown jewel of the Reynolds Alberta Museum,a 1929 Duesenberg Phaeton Royale Straight 8 Model J.This vehicle was custom designed for it's original owner,Mr. John Eberson,an American designer. His purchase price at the time was $20,000 U.S.It is unique in that it's body was custom built for this particular car by Alexander Wolfington of Philadelphia. This Duesie went through several owners through the years,at one time having the indignity of having a drilling rig mounted on the back. It's final owners were Bernard and Joan Aaron of Toronto who devoted years to the long process of restoring it to it's original glory. In 1993,with a value in excess of $1,600,000,they selected Reynold's Alberta Museum as the recipient of this award winning vehicle.
