Wetaskiwin Water Tower.This is the oldest still standing water tower in Canada.The decision to repair rather than tear down a few years back was a good one.It is indeed an icon and the $1 Million plus pricetag for repair was worth it for this still functioning structure.My memories are strong of coming back from childhood vacations and knowing we were almost home when we spotted the water tower in our prairie landscape.
