I finally got out of town with my camera after a long,bitter winter.Took a drive out to one of my favorite local spots,Mameo Beach on Pigeon Lake.This was where I spent all my summers as a young fellow learning about life.Lots of happy memories such as where I learned to swim,boat rides around the lake,Saturday nite dances where the girls danced on our shoulders as the band played Higher and Higher and you were definately NOT cool if you didn't know the latest dance.I remember spending my early summers at the pinball arcade mastering the art of pinball.The only problem was I ended up spending my fine coin collections of quarters and dimes on the machines....I shudder to think of the value of the rare coins that ended up in the coin boxes.Summer BBQ's,picking Saskatoon berries.....so many fond memories.
