Digging through old files

As many of you know,my external drive where I store all my images failed on me so,if not recoverable,I have lost most of my work.Since this happened I have been scouring my computer drive for bits and pieces of my images that weren't moved to the failed drive.Hopefully the data recovery people will be able to restore these images to a new drive.Irregardless I will always have 2 backup drives available from now on saving my info.I've learned my lesson,hopefully not the hard way.
Here are a few images that never saw the light of day on pBase.
UPDATE:
Thankfully I was able to recover all my data and now have an Iomega StorCenter ix2.Two 1 TB drives automatically backup all my photos.If one of those drives fails there is always the other one.Once these are near full I can swap out the two 1 TB drives(or one of them) and put in one of two fresh drives and start over.

This is the thing with digital . most people never think of back up and lose the family album never to see it again. Our ancestors had Hard copys of everything. A good percentage of history is going to be lost becuse of digital. Thank Goodness You Got Yours Back! ...Jake

Hi Rick, sorry about the drive failure. I strongly recommend www.drobo.com. It's a kind of RAID without all the nonsense.
