Situated on the shores of Lake Cowichan are the communities of Honeymoon Bay, Mesachie Lake and Youbou, all within easy reach by road. Each community has access to scenic Cowichan Lake, one of the largest fresh-water lakes on Vancouver Island. The scenic Cowichan River flows through the centre of this quaint little town of 3000.
