These are selections from pictures taken by a non-photographer simply to document birds seen - mostly on Duxbury Beach, Duxbury Mass. Usually the aesthetic values are marginal, but occasionally I get lucky and get a decent shot or two that shows a bird's field marks enough to be of interest to some. These I will post here from time to time for those who may be interested. The most recent shots will appear first. In some cases there are more pix of the bird in a separate gallery - e.g. Black Skimmer and Curlew Sandpiper.
