The photos in this gallery dcoument its presence on 5 days (May 16,21,23,28 & 30) . The photos for 5/16 and 5/23 are of poor quality (heavy rain on 5/16 and long distance on 5/23), but I've added comments to some to point things out. The ones for 5/21, 5/28 and 5/30 were taken under better conditions albeit overcast and at closer range - I note that the bird was considerably more skittish than in 2011.

The fact that this individual has been recorded over a 14 day period should have significance to those considering the importance of Duxbury Beach as a migratory refueling spot rather than just a motel for a night or two on the way north. Perhaps the fertility of the Bay, including our many Horseshoe Crabs may have more significance that is generally realized for northbound Turnstones. The photos on 5/30 show a much more robust bird than the earlier ones.
