Short-billed Dowitcher - Duxbury Beach, MA - April 16, 2014 - early arrival

An early spring migrant - not yet in full alternate plumage. Found it on Crescent Beach with a flock of approx. 20 Dunlin feeding busily at the water's edge on the incoming tide.
