Found along roadside about 200 yds north of the 2nd crossover in an area where I believe Horned Larks bred this summer (though none have been in evidence there for a few weeks after the young fledged). Very active bird, flying all about, not staying still for long. Displayed all field marks including white outer tail feathers and was vocalizing frequently with a sweet pretty high pitched call.
