The two Oystercatchers that have frequented the peninsula south of High Pines flew right by me as I stood out on the marsh. They've been there for several days and are very much a pair. Parhaps they will try to nest as a pair did, unsuccessfully, two years ago. Hearing them call as they passed close by was a memorable moment!
