According to those monitoring the beach there are 10 active nests this year which is a bumper crop. Spring storms and high tides wiped out pretty much the whole nesting season last year; it's good to anticipate a recovery year! One nest is near the road affording me the chance to take this shot without leaving my "rolling blind". This photo shows them taking turns doing incubating duty. Hatch is reported to be due any day now.
