The tiny tidal Bluefish River estuary at times has a nice assortment of birds. This shot was taken around 8:15am. The collection of 3 Great Blue Herons, 6 Great Egrets with feathers flying, and early Greater Yellowlegs all in close proximity made a nice spring tableau. The next day at about the same time I saw an Osprey drop in and grab a fish out of the very shallow water - and only one egret was present.
