This first winter bird was my first Iceland Gull at Duxbury Beach. This gallery holds 4 pix that are helpful for trying to identify whether or not this is a Kumlien's subspecies of Iceland Gull. They are NOT to be confused with photographic "art" or even good quality documentation; they are however, helpful in letting me share the feel of this beautiful, if challenging, bird with those who might be interested. I have added comments under each picture to point out things related to the identification task.... But identification issues aside, this was a beautiful bird on a beautiful day in a very cool setting!
