I found this first winter bird on 11-25-2010 in the central part of the Gurnet residential area. It made it through a tough winter having found a feeder at one of the Gurnet's few year-round residences. The bird had not been seen for about 4 weeks and was believed to have moved on when I found it in a different part of the Gurnet on 4-19-2011 and again near the recently restocked feeder on 4-21. The later picture shows molt in progress.
