Day on the beach shots - Sat Aug 28, 2010 incl post storm seaweed

The preceeding week was stormy and piled much red seaweed on the ocean beach between bridge and second crossover making it useless for people - but not bad for migrants! This little gallery consists of candids taken while running my ISS survey route. Includes Pectoral Sandpiper, Wilson's Warbler, Spotted Sandpiper, scenes of the seaweed and an intimate portrait of 2 Least Sandpipers resting in the Plum Hills marsh.
