May 16, 2017 Ruff and Raven at Allen's Pond, Dartmouth, MA

The Ruff has been seen for several days. These are a few record shots taken from a distance with full 400mm zoom and then cropped/enlarged. As i was leaving I was startled by a deep cruk call and looked up to see a Common Raven - totally unexpected. A few minutes later I spotted it in the road and added its photo to this portfolio.
