Located in upper Manhattan is a museum built in the 1930's by Rockerfeller from four medieval cloisters exported and reconstructed from Europe. The four cloisters, the Cuxa, Bonnefont, Trie and Saint Guilhem are part of a four acre site that houses about five thousand pieces of medieval art. It is now part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
